Even if you decide not to subscribe to The Healthy Back Program, these free resources and previews will help you to understand your back’s directional preference and provide tips to troubleshoot pain you may be currently experiencing with your back.

To watch the previews, you will have to create a login account (that’s FREE, too). The form to do that will appear when you click any one of the Free Preview buttons below.

Find out which directional preference is right for your back?

Complete our questionnaire to help find which directional preference is best for your back.

Understanding your back's Directional Preference is essential to getting a good result when performing an exercise program for low back pain. Exercise positions should be adjusted to fit your Directional Preference to ensure comfort during the classes.

To help you to know which of the Directional Preference resources is best for your back you can use this link to complete our Questionnaire. Knowing whether your back's preference is flexion, extension or neutral will help you to make the most of these video resources.

If you are still unsure of your preference, after taking the questionnaire, we recommend that you speak with your spine therapist or begin with the neutral preference as this posture is the most comfortable position for most people. If this still doesn't feel right, then try one of the other positions. Remember, the directional preference is where your back feels the most comfortable, so choose what feels good to you.
