Standing Hip Extension Self-Test Technique
- Stand in your standing directional preference position.
- Place both hands on a supportive surface i.e. a chair, a wall, a counter.
- To complete the test you should maintain your back in your standing directional preference start position as you bring one leg straight out behind you.
- Don’t bend your knee. You can lean slightly forward.
- Notice which muscles feel the most active during the movement.
